Environmental Commitment

Throughout our history Goeman's Wood Products, Inc. has been proud to be a 100% "green" company and we continue to maintain our commitment to the environment. In addition to repairing pallets our recycling division also performs pallet and scrap removals for recycling as an added service for our customers. All scrap lumber and any used pallets beyond repair are disassembled. Then they're ground into mulch for sale where it's returned to the earth in a biodegradable and natural form.   We also grind scrap lumber into wood chips then burn them in our Hydronic boiler system used to heat our entire 65,000 square foot facility and our heat treating chamber thus "completing the cycle."

Industry Affiliations

Goeman's Wood Products, Inc. has been a proud and active member of the NWPCA (National Wood Pallet and Container Association) for over 20 years. This organization supports the efforts of its members through ongoing research of the lumber industry while providing updates on changes or new government regulations established for the pallet and crating industry. The NWPCA also enables us to network with pallet suppliers nationwide for servicing out-of-state customers or to partner with for fulfilling national contracts. As an NWPCA member we can provide quality products at very competitive prices.

Goeman's Wood Products is also a current member of the Lake States Lumber Association.  This organization's primary objective is to provide leadership and education to its members to assure the sustainability of our forest resources.  They provide representation to a broad cross-section of individuals and business organizations involved in the timber industry.  Their membership has grown to over 200 members in 20 states and 2 Canadian Provinces. 

Community Involvement

We are active members of Lions Club International, MRA (Management Resource Association), ongoing participants in many of the Washington County Workforce Development Programs for unemployed candidates, supporter and contributor to the MDA Foundation, "Walk for Wishes" for the Make a Wish Foundation, and the supporter of the Wanakia Wildlife Foundation.  We also sponsor numerous local youth sports teams and school fundraising activities and have made numerous donations to local charities.
